Ready, Set... No!

I am not ready for school to start on Tuesday! This has been such an enjoyable summer for me and the kids. We spent time at the beach, the pool, and in the backyard. Two of my kids spent a week working as extras in a John Travolta/Robin Williams movie -- so fun! Of course, for my kids, meeting two such big movie stars paled in comparison to meeting the "movie surfers" from Disney channel. If you have school-age children, you know who they are. Among these kids, the "movie surfers" are almost as famous as Troy and Gabriella.
I am just not ready for it all to be over. But, I am prepared. My Kitchen Folio is all ready and I've started organizing the tabs and filing the paperwork. The class lists are in there, and so are the lunch menus, school calendars, etc. And, when a question came up about the middle school bus schedule, my son Andrew knew exactly where to find the answer -- he just picked up the Kitchen Folio, found his section, and found the answer.
I am seriously considering following a reader's suggestion of creating a duplicate Kitchen Folio for the car. As I have mentioned here before, the car is one of my official "offices" (in addition to the island in my kitchen and my actual, professional office). The car is where I often make phone calls, for example while I am waiting to pick up one of the kids, so I end up needing phone numbers and scheduling information there.
Wish me luck... Tuesday is the first day...

I am right there with you! School starts for us tomorrow - one goes to Middle School, one to 4th grade and the baby starts Kindergarten! Break out the party hats...

School started for us last Monday and I cannot tell you how my MomAgenda has saved me! I am planning to purchase one of your Kitchen Folios to replace my makeshift one at home but I would love to see a "car folio" as well. Now that school has begun I find myself using the time while waiting for my Kindergartener to be dismissed, as time for me to make all those phone calls I need to catch up on. Naturally I have my MomAgenda with me wherever I go but a car folio would allow me to keep duplicate copies of all those important schedules/phone numbers on hand- w/o having to remember to bring my kitchen folio along too. :)

If you do create that "car folio"- would you consider offering other colors as well? How about more colors for the kitchen folio too? Thanks!
