Just to illustrate the idea that we all are organizationally-challenged sometimes, even (some would say especially) me…
The other day, Tuesday actually, around 3:40, I received a text message from my 12 year old: “Donde esta.”
I got that weird feeling in the pit of my stomach, which I get whenever I think I might have screwed something up.
I think fast; he gets picked up at 4 every day except Tuesdays at 3:30 and Fridays at 12:30, and its not Tuesday or Friday so I don’t have to be there until 4, so I’m ok, right?
Wrong.
I text back to him: “Is it Tuesday?”
Turns out it is Tuesday.
I jump in the car and arrive there, about 20 minutes late. I apologize profusely, telling him I spaced out, did not realize it was Tuesday, etc.
He says very slowly, in his deep condescending teenage boy voice, “Mom…that’s… why… you… have… a… momAgenda.”
Little does he know. I am so deeply organizationally challenged, I had to invent a new day planner to keep myself organized! And even then, I still don’t always know what day it is!

Thanks for sharing. I too had trouble remember what day it was this week. I remembered tennis in the morning only to forget by 3:30.
Better Sunday planning this week.
