Free Shipping This Week with code

July 21, 2009 11:46 AM

I told you all that there would be some great deals coming this summer, and those of you who are already signed up for our newsletter have already received this great offer. For those of you who are not signed up for our newsletter: would you please sign up already? The reason you should sign up is that we send out great stuff, like discounts, and also free stuff, like the printable downloads we have on our web site. Except our newsletter subscribers get to see them FIRST. Ok, got that out of the way.
So anyway, back to the point of this blog post, which is to let you know that we have a great promotion going on this week; you will receive free shipping on your order when you use the code FAMILY when you are checking out.
So now is the time to snap up that day planner you have had your eye on, without all those pesky shipping charges that nobody likes. Oh, and did I mention that you should sign up for our newsletter to get more great deals in the future?

Gah! I want, no NEED to order a new planner, but I can't decide between the desktop and the mini-daily. Is there a comparison out there anywhere?

I have been away a lot this summer and have missed both the free shipping and 15% off deals. I was about to take the plunge and buy my new planner anyway, and then took a great pause when I got to the $11+ shipping cost. I justify the $42 planner to myself, but I cannot understand that cost for ground shipping on such a small item. I really like my planner, and have used it for 2 years now, but I guess I'll have to wait for another free shipping or look for this item elsewhere, as paying 25% of the item's cost as a shipping charge seems ridiculous. With so many online merchants offering almost-free or free shipping now, I am surprised at what seems an inflated cost.

Caroline,
We understand your frustration, as we too are frustrated with the high cost of shipping. Unlike a large online store, such as Amazon, we are a small business and as such our UPS rates are extremely high. We do not make a profit on shipping; we actually charge you almost exactly what it costs us to get the package out to you.
The good news is that there will be more free shipping promotions in the near future, so please continue to check your email newsletters.
Thanks for your feedback.
Nina
