UPDATE: Congrats to our winner, Dina! Please email me to claim your prize. Thanks!

There is never enough space in an electronic planner, and it requires too much effort, than simply writing it down!
I use a paper day planner because it is much faster to jot stuff down with a pencil, then it is to push a bunch of buttons before you can even type your entry.
TRUE SATISFACTION=CROSSING THINGS OFF A PAPER TO DO LIST (example dinner with the mother-in-law….crossed off=WAHOOO)
You can’t rely on electronic devices to ALWAYS work!
As much as I try to use an electronic type of planner, I still love to ‘write’ in the calendar by hand… I don’t know what it is, maybe that it’s in my own ‘font’/handwriting!
I love to just be able to see it in writing and cross things off as I complete them.
A paper planner allows me to creatively illustrate and depict what the plans are for my me and my family in a uniquely visual way.
I write down notes in my momagenda and I always seem to remember them. I start to write down something on my blackberry (with a reminder set) and for some odd reason I still forget! Don’t get me wrong I love my blackberry but when it comes to jotting things down in my planner, I give it two thumbs up!
I can always depend on my Mom Agenda as it is always available (no electronic issues), handy (easy to take with me) and can efficiently combine my schedule with my daughter’s for easy viewing and updating!
I much rather write in a paper agenda then an electronic on because I love the feel of paper under my fingers and besides I already have a computer at home but I never lost the usage of writing in my agenda, I like the feeling of privacy it brings to me, and I still send a lot of cards and long personal letters to family and friends.
That is why I will never switch.
Thanks
Nathalie
I think having a paper planner–especially one with the wonderful MomAgenda format–makes it easier for my family to see what each of us has going on during the week.
I actually remember things better when I write them down instead of typing it in. Plus, electronic devices are never 100% dependable.
Simple! Paper planners don’t crash, don’t require batteries or electricity, infinitely portable, anyone can read it (don’t need to know login information), but more importantly to me…with all the web/graphics work I do, it’s nice to actually feel the tactile pen to paper than keyboard taps!!
I need to see my whole day/week/month at one glance. If I can look at one thing and see it all I feel more aware of what I have going on not only today but in the days and weeks to come.
It’s so easy to make mistakes on electronic calendars! I can take my paper calendar everywhere with me. Plus, it’s nice to get a chance to write rather than type!
I don’t have to buy an expensive piece of technology to keep my organized (Like seemingly every other blackberry owner out there). I can still can carry all of my important info with me in a paper planner and at the end of the day, my used planner ends up in the recycling bin as opposed to another “out of date” gadget heading for the landfill!
I make notes in my planner all the time and it’s just so much easier to go back to for quick reference plus technology makes me crazy!!
I love my MyAgenda, it’s easy to use and keeps me organized.
A paper planner can not lose my information, and I love to cross off my to do list when done.
A paper planner allows me to touch, express, create and flow…electronic planners just push all the wrong buttons and jumble my creative flow.
I can take my planner anywhere and who doesn’t love to see ones accomplishments for the day.
I need to be able to see my to do list many times a day! You can take paper with you to the store or doctor. a paper planner allows me to make notes without worrying about what time it is– our internet is on a schedule timer (with off line times) to keep kids off when they should be working on other things!
Paper doesn’t break! (well not unless you purposely tear it up.)
The MomAgenda offers enough room for the entire family’s schedule without having to switch screens or learn a new alphabet, etc.
I always use a planner b/c the electronic doesnt allow me to cross off my tasks as I go (deleting them isnt as fun).
I race my husband and his blackberry and I win every time and besides paper is cuter!
My planner sits right by the telephone in the kitchen; it’s available for everyone in the house to see.
With two babies under 3, it’s much easier to write it out than to type it into my phone, plus I always forget or remember something else along the way and a notebook/planner is always ready- No charging required : )
There is something about that ink that I can cross out, write over, write in between the lines that makes a difference.
I love my planner! My favorite part is crossing things off my list!
I know the drawing is over, but I just had to say that I use paper because it’s *real.* Computers are such fast, flighty things that somehow, the information in a computerized planner doesn’t count, it isn’t real. Paper planners require you to take the time to write each letter; figuring out how to fit it into the space allotted forces you to think about the task, and come on – paper is so much prettier. (I didn’t keep it to one sentence b/c the drawing is over anyway!! I too could write a book on this topic.) ^_^
I always have my agenda handy, but I cannot always get to my computer. It may be old fashioned, but paper and pencil are the BEST!
I use a paper planner, because it easy to take it with you everywhere. You can jot down things easily at anytime.
