Many thanks to our friend Nina, who is a twitter friend of mine and a myAgenda user. She writes the blog accordingtonina.com, and just conducted a fabulous survey among her twitter friends and blog readers. She asked them, what is your favorite writing implement to use to “pencil-in” dates in your momAgenda or myAgenda?
The top 3 results are posted now, and I am so excited I might just have to run out to Staples to buy all three. The thing is, my obsession with pens is almost as severe as my obsession with day planners, stationery, note pads, etc. I know that many of you feel the same way!
Check out Nina’s blog post here.

Well I am a little slow in commenting but I simply have to now that I have read your post. I totally understand your obsession with pens. Since Nina was old enough to hold a pen she has collected and stashed them. There was never a question…when some parents travel their children want them to bring them shot glasses or spoons or t-shirts for their collections but Nina wanted pens. It didn’t matter where we were- a mall or a gas station there was always a pen that caught her eye. I used to think…what is that all about? But, now I think I know. It is the art of expressing yourself… special enough that it needs to be written with a special pen. Maybe it is just signing your name, but it’s you. Every time I dig through the pen basket on our kitchen desk looking for my favorite pen to do the crossword in the morning paper I think, “Does it really matter?” Yes, it does. My crossword is so much more enjoyable when I have a pen that doesn’t clog up, or quit working when it’s held upside down too long, or is too thin or too thick to hold. We really can’t underestimate the power of an awesome pen…just ask Nina.
