I want to thank every single one of you who wrote in to tell us what you are thankful for. Your notes not only helped me to get to know you all better, they also helped me to crystallize what I am thankful for in my life.
This fall there were a lot of ups and downs in our family. My 9-year-old son Matt’s spleen injury (and subsequent hospital stay) came and went, then the swine flu came (and stayed for a while) and thank goodness went. I am so thankful that once again we have a houseful of healthy, energetic kids.
