Happy New Year to all of our friends! Whether you totally have your act together or whether you, like me, are organizationally challenged, we appreciate you and thank you for being a momAgenda fan/friend/reader/whatever.
For this giveaway, we will be giving a momAgenda Desktop (your color choice) AND a Kitchen Folio to 1 lucky winner selected at random.
To enter, post a comment below, or on our Facebook fan page, or on Twitter (use hashtag #momagenda), letting us know WHAT IS YOUR NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION FOR 2010?
I will start the party by telling you that my goal for 2010 is to "be Nina" more often. Let me explain. Ever since becoming a mom, my most important role has been, of course, "Mom." Other roles include "wife," "business owner," etc., and while all those roles are awesome and I love them, I am ready to spend some time not in those roles but just being myself.
How does that translate? Well, for example, when I am in my house with nothing to do (ok maybe this is a fantasy scenario but bear with me), rather than do laundry or organize one of my kids' sock drawers, maybe I will do something for myself instead, something that I am doing JUST for me. Like read a book. Or go for a jog.
Sound selfish? I DON'T CARE. Just kidding, I really do care what people think of me, that is another of my resolutions, to not care so much... but I digress.
Anyway, post your resolution, and check back on Thursday January 7 because that is when I will announce the winner!

My New Year's Resolution for 2010 is to be mindfully present with my 5-year-old daughter, Amanda, every weekday morning until I take her to school in time for afternoon kindergarten. Her agenda, not mine... and no laptop for me until the afternoon. (It's gonna be tough...)

My resolution is to enjoy life. I get so busy that I forget to do things that make me happy.

My resolution is to try not to get bullied into volunteering for committees because nobody else would. I am going to spend that time with my family instead of running off after dinner to another meeting...
Thanks for the chance to win!! I LOVE momAgenda!!

My resolution is to be more AWARE of my family's needs of me! Put my phone and computer away and play more and give more to them! It's gonna be a tough one, but time is precious and they need me!

New Year's Affirmative Resolution: I will speak with words that affirm love, health, success and abundance, and allow all to come into my life!
I will affirm this with my blogging goals for 2010 here: http://attractingallgood.blogspot.com/search/label/Blogging%20Goals

My New Year's Resolution: Pick my clothes up off the floor. I am not 5! This shouldn't be so difficult!

I resolve to have less mindless time. Particularly spend less time in front of the tv and more time working toward goals like organizing and reading my Bible. Stuff I say I don't have time for but in reality I do if I have less "mindless time".

My new year's resolution is to stop keeping up with the joneses - I worry so much about what other people, have/do/etc and how I am perceived by others that I am not happy in myself.

My resolution for 2010 is to be more consistent with my time; spending regular time as a wife, a mom, a friend, a business professional and in prayer.
My new momAgenda should help with that! :-)

My new year's resolution is to fully fund a savings account with enough to sustain my family for 6 months, should my husband and I lose our jobs.
Posted by: Krys - January 4, 2010 2:46 PM
My new years res is to simplify my life and not let it get too cluttered with things, to do's, etc. I want to enjoy the simple things in life: my family and friends!

That is actually a great resolution Nina! Mine is to become more organized as we have lived in a state of chaos for about the last six months because of renovations. I want some organization and order back in my life!

My resolution is to be more intimate with my husband. It's been difficult for me since we had our first baby, but she's starting to sleep through the night now, so we have alot more free time. ;)

My New Year's resolution is to learn to say "no" more often. I mean my 5-year-old has no trouble with the word - why should I?
Posted by: pam - January 4, 2010 4:42 PM
My resolution is to keep a positive outlook, no matter what is going on. 2009 taught me its really easy to be negative, so that has to change!
Posted by: Kim - January 4, 2010 6:25 PM
I work part time at home, and plan in 2010 to get more of my work done while the rest of the family is away during the day so we can have more family free time.

I'm not much for resolutions but I'd like to improve my organizational skills (which is what brought me to momAgenda!!). With 5 children under 8 I NEED to be organized and write things down or else they will most likely be forgotten! I need to keep better track of things!! Thanks for the great products and a chance to win - I SO need that Kitchen Planner!! :)

My main New Year's Resolution is to be more in the moment with my girls. NO MORE MULTI-TASKING! They deserve all of me, not distracted me. The desktop planner and kitchen folio will help me get the junk out of my mind so I can focus on them.
I even publicized my New Year's Resolution for support and accountability http://www.wahmbahm.com/years-resolution
Thanks for hosting the giveawy and Happy New Year Nina! :)

My resolution is to find better balance in my life between work and my personal life while learning to better manage the distraction that ADHD is bringing into my life more noticeably lately. To do the things that matter to me and that I am capable of doing *without* either overextending myself or being coaxed into doing the things for which I neither have time or interest.

My New Year's resolution is to listen to my heart, my instincts, my gut.
I LOVE your agendas and making lists and plans. It would be great to start 2010 with your momAgenda and Kitchen Folio. Weee!

My New Years resolution is to be more mindful of our family money. Looking back at 2009 I noticed that we blew through spending money like it was no big deal. Now having an adorable daughter I would like to take some of that fun money and put more towards her college savings and someday wedding funds. I think that will be much more worth it, rather than a cheap thrill in the moment.

I plan to live life to the fullest with my four children. Make their days as interesting and exciting as possible amidst the daily school/work/life schedule

Instead of a resolution I've chosen to focus on one word. ENERGY. Personal, professional, creative, resourceful, sexual, natural. I'm new to this site and your products, but it would be great to use them to channel my 2010 energy.

To Breathe, more often...that is my resolution!
If you would've have asked me ten years ago what my resolution was I would have said, "to stay on task with my career' today, my priorities have totally changed. I am 3 months away from having my 4th child, just sold a house and moved into an apartment, and am working hard with my husband to re-launch a business to keep us a float. It is hard to breathe sometimes, the multi-tasker in me tends to run through the day. I need to make a conscious effort to stop and breathe allowing me to appreciate the little things. Enjoy a hug from my kids, a smile from my husband and the joys of being alive! Thank you for helping me to stop long enough to think about this. Have a great new year and remember to Breathe!

Last year was a huge stepping-stone for me; I had so many “Aha” moments. I have become a better person.
My New Year Resolution is I want to embrace I have accomplish and continue to grow beyond I could ever image. I want to be more patience and loving. Spend quality time with my children and husband. Get the house in order and keep my life simpler. Keep my health in check. I am new to your site; I just received my first Mama Agenda and love it. It won’t be my last. Thank you for offering your services.

I really didn't make any health and organizing resolutions this year. I want to change my mindset to be "in the moment" and "engaged" with my family every day.

My New Year's resolution for this year is to STAY organized throughout the year. I always start off really organized and ready to go and then it falls apart a few months later. I also want to let those I care about, know how much they mean to me and quit taking little things for granted.

My resolution this year is to read more and live simple and spoil myslef more often! I dont need 10-20 pair of shoes.

My New Year Resolution is to spend quality time with my children. The key word here is "quality". As technology progresses so does my obsession with my netbook and my iPhone. I want their childhood memories to be of the time I spent with THEM not the the time I spent texting, tweeting or emailing. They grow up so fast.....I want to enjoy them while I have the chance!

I honestly don't like making resolutions because if I don't live up to my super-high standards then I feel like a failure. I have issues, right? My one goal that I've been focusing on since last year is to get organized and stay organized. I set up a little "command center" in my kitchen with a huge calendar, white board, and bulletin board. I also have a binder with all of our imporatant info in it. In addition to that, I've just been going through the house and organizing things room by room. I'm getting there!

I don't do resolutions (too easily broken and then you feel like "what's the point?") but I have set several goals for myself. One of the big ones is to take my blog to the next level this year with a makeover, more consistent posting, and more presence and connection in/with the mom community. It's going to take a lot more organization of my time and energy, but I'm looking forward to it!

My goal for 2010 is to always watch what I say, because I do not want to hurt anybody with my words! Before I speak, stop, think, and pray! God Bless!

I have two big ones: run the Cherry Blossom 10-miler in 1:45 and stop fretting about my career, instead simply exploring all the different work-related opportunities that might arise!

I am going to be more organized. No, really...I am. And you are going to help me immensely! Thanks for a GREAT product line!

I do not usually make resolutions, but I do intend to work on being less High Strung - I'm wired like a tight spring, I need to unwind - slow down and enjoy life!

To be a better wife and mother. Being a wife has suffered a bit since our daughter was born and I would love to be able to balance both.
