What is your favorite way to spend time as a family?
We will choose a winner at random on Friday, March 19. Good luck everyone!!!

Family game night…..wii, board games….it is all up to the kids….they love to pick…
Our favorite way to spend time as a family is cuddled up on the couch watching a movie chosen by our 3 year old!
My favorite time to spend time as a family is in our pajamas, sitting around the kitchen table, enjoying weekend breakfasts together!
Our best family time comes from finding things to do around the house and that are free! Every Friday night, we do some sort of virtually free family activity. Last week, my husband and I set up a movie theatre. We sent the kids outside to play while we set it up. We chose 3 three of their DVD’s and set them up. We made a ticket counter and a concession stand complete with popcorn, drinks, and candy. The kids came inside got their tickets and concessions and then we all sat down and watched the movie. We have set up zoos, amusement park, game nights, camping, and art stations. We make a point to spend every Friday night together doing some sort of fun activity at home. We really bond as a family and have a lot of fun in the process!
We love playing games together, going to the beach and riding the rides at amusement parks together.
My favorite family time is walking the trails at the park and taking time to stop to look at all the things little boys find along the way.
Playing tennis at the park, with our yellow lab too!
I have to say that because I’m a full time working mom, that every minute counts with my family because there aren’t a lot of minutes with them every day…. I especially love our bedtime routine- snuggling while reading books!
Our kids are 7, 3 1/2 and 2 so sometimes it is hard to find activities that appeal to everyone. When the weather is good we really enjoy our ‘adventure’ walks. We walk to the lake and look for treasures along the way. Fun for everyone!!
Since our child is only five weeks old we just like being awake and playing at the same time!
My favorite thing to do as a family is to go somewhere together. Either the Park, or Museum or Aquarium. Its rare that we get to do things together so they are all very special times when we are all doing something fun.
My favorite way to spend time with my family is playing outside. My 2 y/o daughter loves to play soccer and swing on her swing set. We just added an infant swing so my 9 month old son can play on the swing set too.
We LOVE Wii time but I think our favorite thing to do as a family is going to comic book conventions. The kids are 9.5, 8.5, almost 6 and 10.5months and they have all been to them and they all can’t wait to go to more. The oldest was 5 at the 1st one and it is now a regular thing.
Our most favorite thing is to go to Disney together!! lol But for day to day stuff, we like to go out to eat (kids LOVE Applebees!) and work on jigsaw puzzles together!
We (20 month old twin boys) enjoy playing outside in my dad’s backyard in the blow up pool, throwing a ball, or on the riding toys. Can’t wait for the warmer weather
We like movie & popcorn nights.
Just getting together with friends and having the kids all hang while the adults have their time together too.
Dinnertime! We love to eat and the kids love to help cook. Our 12-year-old boy made a molten chocolate cake dessert last week for the whole family, and our 6-year-old girl loves to help her dad make burritos. Yum!
We have started a family tradition of making our own pizza on Friday nights. It gets our daughter involved in cooking and it’s cheaper than ordering pizza out every week.
We also have a great bedtime routine that we all love. It’s special time for us.
Definitely playing games and/or movie nights where we get to cuddle up eating popcorn and apples in our jammies.
Our 5 year old twin’s love it when we pop popcorn the ‘old-fashioned’ way…as my husband strums his acoustic guitar and we all sing and dance around the family room. The giggles are amazing….
Our favorite family activity as a family (by the way it is 6 of us:) is going out to the ballpark and finding and empty field and playing a game of family baseball. Our family dog is a big part of this. He loves to go to the ballpark and chase all the baseballs we hit:)) He is a Golden Retriever and is a big part of our family. So I guess I should make that, 7 of us:))
Our favorite family activity is to do re-enactments of stories. We include the stuffed animals for extras. We dress up in blankets. We make buildings out of couch cushions. Our three children are 4, 3, and 1. We see their imaginations ignite!
sitting on our back deck on a warm summer morning eating breakfast, talking, playing and just being together
I have not been this excited about a chance to win anything in a long time. I love MomAgenda!!
As a family of 5 we are always off to someones sporting event or birthday party. We like to take one day a month where we do nothing but hang out in or around the house and stay in our pjs all day without a schedule to follow.
Thanks for the chance to win. I am so excited about the new colors!!
Camping! Time to unplug, hike, cook, snuggle, make s’mores and sing (not so traditional) campfire songs
We love spending time together outside. We go for walks on the trail, go on ladybug searches, and treasure hunts, build forts, look for newts, collect worms, frogs and toads, dig in our garden. We even love playing in the rain and splashing in puddles!
I’ve always considered family dinners MY favorites – but it was so nice to recently learn that my kids actually appreciate them. When swim practice changed time and started to impinge on dinners together – my 10 year old complained. And when a sleepover friend expressed surprise that we all ate together, my 12 year old told her what fun her family was missing!
I love snuggling in the bed with my two boys! Nothing better!
My favorite way to spend time is at The Children’s Museum! Our children are 4 and 1 1/2 and they are just amazing to watch when they learn new things and how big their eyes get with the fun at the museum. My husband and I charish these moments!
We always have lots of fun together but our annual week at the shore always makes for some of the very best memories and pictures!
We like to cook together (and eat)!
Eating dinner together!! We have great conversation and games we play to discuss our day
Our favorite way to spend family time together is to pop in a movie in our bedroom and have the kids, the dogs, and my husband and I on the bed. We add popcorn to the mix (which can get messy!
) but it’s exciting to be on the big bed and we are all able to relax and talk together.
On weekends we love hiking along our community gully, searching for critters and picking flowers.
We have a 6 1/2 month old. So, we love spending every minute we can with him and watching him accomplish new things daily. It’s so much fun to see the new expressions he makes, watch him attempt to crawl, how he reacts to new foods, etc. We also enjoying taking time to read to him. Every day is a new adventure. Now that spring is here and the weather is getting nicer, we’ll go to the zoo, go for walks around the neighborhood together, do walks for charity as a family, etc.
We love spending time at our lakehouse making homemade icecream and enjoying the lake!
Movie Nite! Love it..big bucket of sam and ike’s kettle corn and a good flick. Snuggled up in the dark with my 3yo daughter.
we wgere just talking about this… now that the weather is getting better here the northeast. we will be taking a walk in the park and picnic lunch. we are so excited to get out of the house and spend some time together in the warm beautiful sun!!!!!!
We love going to the beach, and amusement parks, and days at museums or zoos, and dinnertime is very important to us since with soccer, piano and science olympiad, that’s the only time of the day we are all together. But really, we LOVE to cuddle up on the couch and watch a funny movie together, or play a game.
I am a single mom, so it is just me and my two children, ages 11 and 15, and I work outside the home, so our time together is very precious. One of the things we like to do together, besides watch movies, is to play around on the guitar and keyboard and sing. We are kind of a musical family and it is something that we all share. Of course, they would never admit to their friends that they “jam” with their mom!
With a 3-year-old and an 8 month old, there is not a lot of time to spend together. Right now, the most special time we spend together is afternoon quiet time. Many times it turns into nap time, but sometimes it is just laying together reading or watching the Biscuit Brothers!
Our favorite way to spend time as a family is we all wake up on a pre-picked Sunday morning and put on our favorite pajamas, make a huge breakfast as a family (pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns and fruit) and then we eat in the living room (which is not usually allowed) then we watch cartoons until they are over, then we have 4-5 movies lined up. We all stay in our pj’s all day then we order pizza delivery for dinner…..its such a great day especially in the cold winter months!!!
My kids love having “game night.” So sometimes after dinner, we play board games or if it is nice we go outside and play basketball or basball. Being a breast cancer survivor, I now let the dinner dishes linger in the sink and make sure we have time for games. The chores can wait!!!
Playin’ the Wii! I lose every time, but still enjoy every minute!
It really doesn’t matter whether or not I’m doing or going anywhere as long as my new little grandson is with me. I would be happy just sitting and watching him sleep. He is the most precious little baby.
“Friday night movie night” … All week, the boys look forward to this. Once we pick them up from school, we go to blockbuster and pick a new family friendly movie. After dinner, we turn on the tv, shut off all the lights and snuggle on the couch to watch our movie. The night usually ends when they wake me up to tell me the movie is over.
Adventures outside near the beach! Hiking, exploring, picnics, walking along the beach
We love spending time outside!
When my kids were younger, our favorite family time was playing board games and adding a bowl of pop-corn.
Now that they have their own families I spend all my free time reading. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

Our favorite thing to do as a family is to have a movie night, and we also love to play bingo together.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Now a days with so many activities going on, family time is sometimes hard to do. Differing scheduals can make it hectic. We’ve made it a point, a strong point in our home to make it priority. We use suppertime, the preparation down to eating as our family time. Since our children were in diapers they sat in highchairs in the kitchen with us. Today they are 4 and 6 and we still do it every night. We talk and sing and share. We prepare dinner and then we sit together. Every night. Family is important and I hope that this instills this great value in my children.
cooking dinner! The kitchen is where all the bonding happens!
My husband travels about 260 days a year, so family time is precious to us. He’s usually home on Sunday so we’ve deemed it our Pfamily Pfun Day (our last name begins with pf). We treasure those days together doing anything from a walk in the park to a trip to the aquarium.
I’ll re-cap a perfect weekend for you: Friday nights we love to go to dinner and a bookstore. Saturday is oatmeal morning with the kids and hubby followed by my son’s soccer game and a BBQ. Sunday mornings are at my daughter’s soccer followed by a great lunch and then a bike ride. So much to do… good thing I put it all in my MomAgenda!
I love being in our backyard with my family. The kids run around and play. We play lots of fun games!
As a family we love to go to one of the local parks and feed the ducks, geese, deer and donkeys. We can get a HUGE sack of day old bread from the bread store for $2.50 and it takes the entire afternoon to go through it.
Every Wednesday night is our family game night. We all get a vote as to which game or games we get to play together. We vote on our dinner that night as well. We love to involve our children in all the fun
Puzzle time, reading books while snuggled together, and baking cookies!
We curl up on the sofa to read books and when our wee 8 month old is bored of one (which is often!) he launches his whole body at the rest to grab a new one!
As a blended family with two children in our home and two children that we see every other weekend, we cherish any time when all four of our children can be together with us as a family. At these times, no matter what we are doing we are having a good time. These are the times that our children will remember when they get older. We hope we are showing our children that we don’t have to spend lots of money to have a good time but that the togetherness is the most important thing!
Playing out in our backyard, especially in the summer. We all run around playing ball, tag, hide and seek…
Our girls are 6 and 4 years old. On Friday evenings, we will take our bath, dim the lights, snuggle on the sofa with our dog, Max and have Movie Night. This usually ends with the girls falling asleep before the movie ends. When they wake up the next morning, they will tell me how much they enjoy snuggling with me.
We love to spend time together outdoors. Our favorite is hiking and camping! But when it’s too cold, we’ll settle for a good healthy competition on the Wii.
My favorite way to spend time as a family is when its time to get ready fr bed, after pajamas and such, we get in bed by having a tickle fight! Then when our tummys hurt from laughing so muchm we all get into my bed and cuddle! Although i need a bigger bed.
We love to fix breakfast together on the weekends and eat in our jammies!
We have Family Film Nights on Fridays and Wacky Wednesday Game Nights. These are days the kids don’t have a lot of homework so we can relax and enjoy the evening together. My kids love these special nights and so do I.
We love hanging out with the kids and watching movies, breakfast in our jammies on the weekends, and just playing outside when the weather is nice!
We’re a busy family with four boys (age 15-8), and we’re constantly going in different directions. We all treasure our time when we go to Florida each summer. We spend a week together doing nothing but hanging out together at the beach or swimming in the pool. It’s a great time for us all to reconnect.
The other treasured time spent together is any time we all are able to all eat together. Loads of things are learned around the dining table!
My husband and I have been married for slightly over a year. We have known each other since high school. We had our first child on December 4th and we have been in and out of Arkansas Children’s Hospital 4 different times with her in the last 2 months. She has problems gaining weight, breaking down proteins, and is allergic to milk, soy, lactose… See More and corn. Our entire lives are spent making sure she has the most we can offer her. I am no longer working so that I can continue to give her the most and best quality of life! We go to Children’s 2-3 times a week, and my husband works out of town. I do this as a single mom and wife. We spend a LOT of time on the phone and speaker phone. We also Skype and send pictures. Our family time is not your “everyday” run of the mill experiences. Paizlee (our daughter) has had family time in her hospital bed, in a wagon being pulled thru the hospital…her family time is when I give her a bath with her daddy on speaker phone so she can feel like it is a family experience. She might have some unknown and yet to be discovered underlying issues, but we will continue to enjoy and love our over the phone family time and our visits with Children’s…those nurses are our family too!
Sunday brunch- it’s the best time to reflect on the week before and gear up for the week ahead!
Our favorite way to spend time as a family is by all walking our dog Molly. We are all so busy that it is a great way to sort of wind down the day.
My favorite way to spend time as a family is sans blackberries, PDAs, DSIs, iPods, notebooks, Facebook (my guilty pleasure)…need I say more
Hanging out and having a movie night, kids choice with popcorn. We just love to hang out together
Nicole
Our favorite way to spend time together as a family is by letting each child pick what we do on their weekend. It starts with breakfast on Saturday morning, and usually goes for that entire day. Everything, meals included, is decided by that child.
Our favorite family time is when we are outside and being active. In the winter that is sleding, building snowmen, or shoveling and in the spring/summer it is soccer, baseball, football, tag, or just pretending we are eating mud pie that our 3 girls made us! Our girls love that we will play the games with them & not just watch them playing.
We have 2 very outdoorsy boys. Our favorite way to spend as a family is to go on family adventures nearby. Living in Northern California offers so many fabulous hikes, parks, beaches, etc. We try to make every outing a learning experience for Miko, our curious 3 year old, and Sevi, our very active 1 year old.
We homeschool our girls and are Busy, Busy, Busy! (which is I why I love MomAgenda) So as a family we’ve planted a garden! It’s not only a great excuse for spending time together but really great to experience first hand my girls learning something new!
We have 2 girls – ages 7 & 8. We try to have Friday Night Taco Night each week, which usually includes a movie and/or games. We also love to play outside, go hiking & camping, go to the beach – we like being outside!
With 3 girls who all like different things I tend to mostly spend time with each individually doing what they like. But each year we set some hatching eggs, after spending ages deciding which variety to chose, and for the next 3 weeks we come together and go through ranges of emotions….anticipation, angst, impatience and many more, but it draws us together and we learn about the circle of life, how nothing is certain and my girls learn how to appreciate what mothers go through for their children!!!
I hope momagenda can help me get my life back on track and organised!!!
My favorite thing to do as a family is laugh! Doesn’t matter where or when. We could be doing anything from watching a movie together to playing in the yard.
My favorite thing to do as a family is take walks in the evening. I have a one year old daughter and she loves to look at and touch the leaves and branches–so fun to watch her learn!
Our favorite thing to do as a family is to have a family movie night. We make some easy finger foods and watch a movie together. It is so nice to just sit and cuddle after a very busy week.
Our favorite thing to do as a family is to have a family movie night. We make some easy finger foods and watch a movie together. It is so nice to just sit and cuddle after a very busy week.
Anything we do at home is a treat for us! Our son has chronic medical problems that land us in the hospital many times a year. Any way we spend time together happy and healthy (but especially at home!) is the best!
Our favorite family time is Sunday afternoons. We love time together after church; relaxing before another busy week. We cherish meals, movies, pick-up basketball games, and patio time. Having an 11 and 15 year old, we can tell the time is flying by,and oh how sad we are.
My favorite way to spend time as a family is playing card games around the table. It was my grandmother’s favorite game and its nice to remember her every time we play.
My favorite time that I spend with my family is right before bed. All the kids are showered and in their pj’s. We spend some downtime together talking and playing. Just before bed we do our “favorite parts of the day”. It’s always so amusing to hear what was special to them that day.
