It is Win-It Wednesday again here at momAgenda! This time, we are giving away a Zebra Home Office planner. These planners are hot--they just came in 3 weeks ago, and we are already almost sold out! If you are looking for Hot Pink or Turquoise, unfortunately those are sold out already.
Here's your win-it Wednesday question: When you make a list, do you make it on your mobile device, or on paper? Or both?
Winner will be chosen at random tonight. Thanks everyone for participating!

I use paper. Love to see my agenda in 2-d
Posted by: roberta - August 18, 2010 12:08 PM
I use both, but prefer paper. It is much easier to flip back and forth on paper, see more at one time, and have to do, lists, calendar all in one view. With my mobile calendar I can't see enough at once and miss things.

I do it all! I try to make myself use my computer or phone, but I just LOVE the feel of real paper in my hands still! I don't think I'll ever be able to give that up!

I currently use paper but am considering trying out a computer/phone app. I am very much a paper person another reason I love my Momagenda. I have had a phone lose all it's info in the past and if I hadn't had the paper version of all the info. it would have been a mess.

I make notes on paper - I put stuff in my Blackberry calendar and my home calendar - basically its a mess and I need to do it all in 1 spot so I don't keep forgetting things :) Crossing my fingers for a WIN!!

Love to make to do lists on paper.

I use only my Mom Agenda...it is the best thing since sliced bread...lol! I have shared this gem with all of my friends, and they are all ordering now! My aunt first gave me one 4 years ago, and I have not been without one since!!!! Thanks so much for a great product!!!!

I carry a little notebook with me everywhere. I write everything in it! When I get the HTC I want, I'll use my phone, though :)

I write the information down on paper first, then transfer it to my phone and set an alarm (hopefully, between all the "effort" I will remember).
Posted by: Meganne - August 18, 2010 12:16 PM
I use paper! I like to write it in one color and then cross it off in a dramatically opposite color. Makes me feel even better about getting things done! Plus, on Saturdays at home, my four-year-old and I make a list together so we can practice letter recognition - and we make sure to write "dollhouse" and "play outside" right along with "clean kitchen" and "laundry"!

I'm a paper gal! I have been researching organizers/planners today and I am going the mom agenda route! I can't wait!

I prefer paper over mobile device partly because I am not a tech person
Posted by: Genette - August 18, 2010 12:21 PM
I use paper lists. Love to keep To-do-list on the frig for convenience but transfer to my Blackberry a lot so I don't have as much to carry. Use my Blackberry for Christmas lists, kids find my paper trail!
Posted by: Jimmi - August 18, 2010 12:21 PM
Of course I use my Mom Agenda All-in-One with backup on my Blackberry.

I make notes on paper-- I have a little pad that fits in my momagenda!
Posted by: Jenny Martin - August 18, 2010 12:25 PM
Definitely in my planner. I like to be able to cross items off my list. I feel like I accomplished more when I cross it off.
Posted by: Heather M. - August 18, 2010 12:26 PM
I use paper mostly...it's so satisfying to cross things off the list... :)
Posted by: Cricket - August 18, 2010 12:33 PM
There is nothing better than wading up that piece of paper and throwing it away. What a sense of accomplishment!
Posted by: suzie amick - August 18, 2010 12:36 PM
Although my husband tries to get me to make my lists on Google Docs, I definitely prefer writing my lists on paper. And always in my momagenda! There's no greater satisfaction than crossing off something on my to do list!
Posted by: Heidi R - August 18, 2010 12:36 PM
I usually right down my lists on paper. My husband laughs at me all the time because I have lists all over the place for just about everything. I use to use my mobile when I had the blackberry, but now it's on paper and computer.

I am old school when it comes to my To Do lists. I like to write it out, it feels therapuetic just literally downloading it from my stressed brain to the paper. I am a little OCD about my lists though - if I make a mistake or have any scratch-outs, I have to tear that entire page out and start over - crazy, but it works for me. I also LOVE the ability to cross out the "dos" that are done! Once I get a good number of them done. I will create an entire new To Do list. I just purchased the MomAgenda To Do sticky pads and I cannot wait to use them!!

I always use paper. My MomAgenda is priceless because I can jot down my to do lists and carry it with me wherever I go!! I no longer have to go through packages of post-its a week!

I write it on paper. I am old fashioned. I have a notebook that I use and just keep adding and scratching off. I do use an app on my Droid when I think of things while out.

Paper Paper Paper!!!!
Posted by: lisa - August 18, 2010 12:58 PM
PAPER!!!!! Would love for that paper to be enclosed in a new MomAgenda!!!
Posted by: Gay - August 18, 2010 1:01 PM
I love technology - esp. my blackberry, but I don't know why I 'must' write my to-do list!! I even just re-use scrap paper from the office to write my list.
Posted by: Heidi Y - August 18, 2010 1:02 PM
Paper all the way!!! Mobile devices just doesn't do it for me, it's not right there in front of your face and if you have a phone like mine the screen goes clear after a few seconds.
Posted by: Delia M - August 18, 2010 1:12 PM
Definitely the old fashioned way...paper! I love to check things off!
Posted by: lindsay c - August 18, 2010 1:12 PM
I use paper and/or sticky notes to my lists. They get stuck to the back of the front door so they can't be missed on the way out.
Posted by: mapsgirl - August 18, 2010 1:14 PM
It's gotta be paper for me. I just need to physically write the stuff down. Doesn't matter if it's a sticky, old envelope, or paper bag...just PAPER. A cool pen helps too ;)
Posted by: Mrs. P - August 18, 2010 1:25 PM
I still prefer paper because it takes me too long to put it in my phone. :)
Posted by: Ivette Muller - August 18, 2010 1:37 PM
I like the feel of the pen or pencil in my hand when I'm writing a list or writing on a calendar. Re-writing the lists gives me a sense of order and peace. I love my Blackberry but I pull out my calendar to write things down. I need to see the overview, and I like to look at it on nice paper!!
Posted by: Alexandra - August 18, 2010 1:39 PM
All paper. I have yet to be able to use a piece of technology successfully for handling my lists.
Posted by: Brandy - August 18, 2010 1:47 PM
I use both. I write down everything I need to do in my momAgenda, then each night I go through my list for what I want to accomplish the next day & put it in my Blackberry. Once it's done, I mark it off in my agenda & my phone.
Posted by: Stephanie - August 18, 2010 1:54 PM
I love making my lists on paper. I put them in my planner and on post-its all over the place! It just feels better to be able to throw it away when I have completed the task!
Posted by: Nicole - August 18, 2010 2:03 PM
Definitely paper all the way! I love writing out my to do lists as much as I like crossing off the things as I do them. I actually like the idea of writing out the to do list because I like to dream ahead of time what it will feel like when I have accomplished everything! I've tried to set reminders on my blackberry but I end up dismissing the reminder and then forget about the to do. Also paper you can take different places and put places like my car's dashboard and such where I'm sure to see it. I don't find the same ease with a piece of technology!
Posted by: melissa - August 18, 2010 2:10 PM
Paper - but actually in my Mom Agenda, knowing everything is in one place really makes like so much easier - Thanks Nina!
Posted by: Stephanie - August 18, 2010 2:12 PM
I write it down on paper and put it in my Mom Agenda. I don't remember anything without writing it down and while the technology is there, is does not translate to my mind and thus it does not get done. I love my Mom Agenda and how I can have all of my information along with the kids in one place. Thanks Nina!! Cyndi

I am a paper girl. I love writing my lists on paper because I get a cheap thrill of crossing that 'to-do' item OFF!
I love lists... I love making them... and I love checking/crossing them off!!
I feel a sense of accomplishment when I can make a list and see at the end of the day most/all of the items crossed off - complete. :)
Posted by: Rachel - August 18, 2010 2:20 PM
I still use paper. As much as I am falling in love with my blackberry, I find it better for me to write it down and have it staring me in the face until I am able to cross it out.
Posted by: jeanette - August 18, 2010 2:22 PM
Paper! i have to see it, feel it & use a sharpie to mark it off the list!
It usually is on a LARGE post-it note that goes inside my momAgenda
Posted by: maggi - August 18, 2010 2:34 PM
I put it in my momagenda calendar. I rarely use a PDA. Love to see it on paper especially in the cute agendas you have!
Posted by: Yvonne Pierce - August 18, 2010 2:47 PM
I put mine on my crackberry and on paper. That way I have no one to blame but myself when I forget to do what ever it may be. Although my husband humors me and takes the blame.
Posted by: Amy - August 18, 2010 3:04 PM
I use both - mostly paper and my favorite trick is to use small post-it notes and stick them into my MomAgenda, this way everything is in one place, and you can throw it out when you complete the task. I use my blackberry when I am out and not carrying my planner.
Posted by: Anne - August 18, 2010 3:08 PM
I use my Personal Portfolio, I have tried in the past to use electronic items like a phone or PDA, but I am a (color coordinating) pen and paper girl~I do use a yahoo calendar too though (cause my MIL like to know what we're doing and when). :o)

I make my to do lists in my myAgenda every day, but also keep any on-the-run lists on my iPhone.
Posted by: Stamford Talk - August 18, 2010 3:48 PM
I make it on the computer and then print out a copy to keep in my Desktop Planner (I added a pocket inside the front cover for it) and also sync it on my blackberry. That way I can make notes on the paper one and have a back up list for when life happens.

I always make notes and lists on paper. Now just have to figure out a way not to lose or misplace the paper! Really need to figure out an organizational system ... been saying that for years now! Love your products!

I use paper. Much easier for me to cross things off :)

I have to write things on paper because I get great satisfaction from checking off completed tasks! I do, however keep my grocery list on my phone.
Posted by: Shae - August 18, 2010 5:20 PM
Paper! Love to cross off as I go.

Paper - I'm a techy, but paper is just more gratifying, for some reason!
Posted by: Tammy - August 18, 2010 5:27 PM
I usually always make my to-do list on paper. Love when I am able to cross off or put a check next to the task.

I use both paper and my Iphone.

Wow - I am surprised at all of these paper answers!! Maybe it is because people generally following the MomAgenda blog are on paper since until recently that is all you offered? Anyway, I am a digital gal all the way - but I am still looking for a perfect system, and am excited MomAgenda is entering this arena!! Until then ,anything is better than bits of paper all over. There's nothing more frustrating than copying to do items to the next day or forgetting that piece of paper on my desk - and since my phone is always with me, everything is on my android HTC Eris (previously my smartphone, previously my Palm). Now that there are cloud apps it is even better - I use Remember the Milk for tasks and Evernote for notes, but would love to have one integrated system for everything. One of things I would love is the ability to see my calendar and tasks, sortable by whatever fields I wanted, all in one view...(hint, hint...)
ListPro is also awesome - multiple lists, with parent/child ability - I loved it for grocery lists, packing lists, etc...but they don't have an android app and, surprisingly, there is nothing that even comes close available for android, so I am on the lookout for that (another hint hint) ;) I would LOVE an app that had the ability to make multiple lists and the ability to have nested items...
