Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

When will the Personal Portfolios and Refillable Folio Covers be available?

Both items are scheduled to be in our warehouse, ready to ship to our customers, on 7/1/11. We will make them available for preorder in early June. Please leave your email address here so that we can notify you when they are available for preorder.

Are you bringing back the wall calendar? If so, when?

Yes, we are bringing back the wall calendar. It is scheduled to be in our warehouse, ready to ship to our customers, on 7/1/11. The wall calendar has been beautifully redesigned, and will have an August 2011-December 2012 format.

Why did you eliminate my favorite color? Will you be adding any more colors?

Our color decisions each year are based on a number of factors, including fashion trends, focus group feedback, and, when applicable, previous year sales. When the sales of a particular color are not sufficient, we unfortunately have to eliminate it.

There are 3 more colors being added to the momAgenda Desktop line. We will be offering Kelly Green (new), Rose Pink (back from last year), and Teal Blue (new) in our popular crocodile material. These items will be in our warehouse, ready to ship by 7/1.

Why does your calendar run August to December instead of the standard January to December calendar?

Some moms plan on a school year basis (that is, their “new year” begins when the new school year begins), while others plan on a calendar year basis. We designed our planners to be flexible so that whichever way you do your planning, our planners will work for you. Most women use our planners for 12 months, either August-August, or January-December. Please use it your way…. and look at the extra 4 months as a bonus.

What is the difference between the momAgenda and the myAgenda?

Overall, we designed the myAgenda for women who love the momAgenda way of organizing, especially the weekly layout and the pretty covers, but either are not moms or who do not want a calendar that identifies them as a mom on the front cover. To that end, the calendars are very similar, with the “mom” versions geared more toward moms, and the “my” versions geared more toward all women, including but not limited to moms. More specifics appear below.

Here is what they both have:

- our unique week-at-a-view layout with space for mom and up to 4 kids

- monthly views

- blank lined pages

- space for recording notes on books, movies, music, fashion, restaurants, wines, health, fitness, entertaining resources, party planning, and vacation planning

- essentials pamphlet for recording permanent information like contact info, medical information, websites and passwords, and birthdays

- Dimensions of large size are 7″ x 9″; dimensions of small size are 5″ x 7″

Here are some key differences:

- myAgenda does not mention the word “kids” anywhere in the book

- momAgenda has colored pages (blue, pink, purple, and green), while myAgenda has ivory pages

- the momAgenda weekly layout includes a “dinner” planning line, while the myAgenda does not

- myAgenda covers are metallic, momAgenda covers are not. The exception is the Zebra and the Giraffe, which look the same for both momAgenda and myAgenda.

- momAgenda has a gift record

- myAgenda has an expense record

- the momAgenda Mini Daily is a day on a page planner that runs August-August. The myAgenda Mini is a weekly planner that runs from August-December, like the larger versions of both.

Do you have any apps available? Will you have an app for my device soon?

Currently we have an iPad app available, which features our unique layout and many other exciting features. You can learn more about our iPad app here.

At this time we do not have apps for any other devices, but we are currently in discussions about expanding our app offerings to include other devices.

Which product is right for me?

This is the trickiest question of all! Here are a few thoughts:

- If you want a planner that’s portable try the momAgenda or myAgenda Desktop or Mini.

- If you are going to leave your planner at home try the momAgenda or myAgenda Desktop, or the Home Office Edition.

- If you want something that is professional looking try the momAgenda in Soft Gold, the myAgenda in Graphite, or Personal Portfolio or Refillable Folio Cover (with Spiral) in Shimmering Smokey Gray.

- If you want something that will last longer than 17 months, try the Personal Portfolio or the Refillable Folio with Spiral.

- If you want pockets in your planner, buy the Home Office Edition, the Personal Portfolio, or the Refillable Folio with Spiral. Or buy the momAgenda or myAgenda Desktop or Mini, and also order a set of coordinating pockets that adhere inside the front and back covers.

- If you are looking for a bargain buy the momAgenda or myAgenda Spiral, which has all the same features as the Desktop with a lower price.

Which day planner do you use?

I switch planners every year so that I can really experience each product and learn what the pros and cons are. In the past, I have used the momAgenda Desktop, the momAgenda Mini Daily, the Refillable Folio (with Spiral refill), and the Personal Portfolio.

This year, I am using the myAgenda Desktop in Cosmo Pink, and I carry it everywhere with me. I also use the Home Office Edition in Zebra at home; I leave it on my kitchen counter and use it to communicate with my nanny/kids/husband.
